Arts, Health and Wellbeing Workshops

Our approach to facilitating workshop sessions is one that supports a sense of pause and presence. We hope to create a warm place; an invitation to slow down, create, and nurture sensitivity through art making.

We have worked with organisations like Swansea Bay Health Board, SPAN Arts, Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and Family and Therapy CIC. In the session participants have the opportunity to explore the senses through creativity, using various materials and processes of making. It's a chance to reconnect with what feels most authentic through the act of creating, whether this is through drawing, clay, sculpture, words or other forms of artistic expression. We hope to offer an opportunity to experience mindfulness, flow, and a deep sense of calm, giving permission to simply be whilst embracing a quieter, more intuitive rhythm where health and wellbeing is nurtured through creative expression.

A space for creativity and connection, both with oneself and with others.

We facilitate workshops in various different ways to support organisations and projects to meet the following needs:

  • Arts, Health and Wellbeing Initiatives eg: Respite for Parent Carers, Creative Wellbeing for Staff and Parent & Child Therapeutic Arts.

  • Project Evaluation, Reflection and Advocacy:
As well as workshops being the mode of engagement & participation in arts, health and wellbeing initiatives, they also make a great setting for filmmaking to be embedded to capture authentic evaluation, reflection and advocacy for a project in the voices of its participants and leaders.

Sarah delivered an 8-week therapeutic art programme for Family and Therapy, bringing parents and children together to build healthy attachments and strengthen their relationships through play and creativity. From the very beginning, Sarah’s gentle nature, warm presence, and thoughtful encouragement created a safe and supportive atmosphere for the families.

Her sessions were beautifully considered and carefully planned, with creative resources that engaged everyone and supported meaningful moments of connection. Sarah’s organisation and attention to detail meant that each week built seamlessly on the last, giving families a consistent and nurturing space to grow together.
