Family and Therapy CIC - The Playroom Project

Working alongside therapists at Family and Therapy, The Playroom Project was an 8 Week project funded by West Glamorgan Regional Partnership. It provided a safe space for children and their families to participate in creative session with an aim to create and strengthen bonds between family members, increase confidence and learn more about themselves and others. Sarah was asked to formulate and facilitate creative sessions, we combined children’s therapeutic story books and art making. Families had the opportunity to explore feelings and emotions and experience the therapeutic benefits of working with materials such as clay, paint and craft.
